Simply Put

There's no better place

To be from and to live.

Havre is a great place to be from and a better place to live.  Havre has seen the return of many high school graduates as young professionals looking to raise their family and pursue their careers.  Simply put…. there is no place they would rather be..

"We are all native to some community. Having moved several times in my life, my heart belongs to Havre."

We are pleased to welcome you as you consider Havre to be home for your family or business.

The community boasts a high quality of life, a strong business environment, superb health care, low crime rates, quality education, cultural arts and a wealth of seasonal recreational opportunities.  Simply stated, the Havre community is a great place to live and work, raise a family, retire, attend school and conduct business.

Havre 4 Kids

"I live here because of the lifestyle, education and activities for my children."

Children’s recreational sports are a high priority. Local parks are filled with young enthusiastic participants, their parents and grandparents, where tennis, skateboarding, and traditional sports share the billing. Community spirit for area youth extends into the service clubs who sponsor many of the little league summer activities and maintain area parks.

The many community parks are a great place to host a birthday celebration. Other ideas for a special party: bowling, swimming, ice skating and the movies.

The community is fortunate to have a very active Boy’s and Girl’s Club that provides an extensive list of activities for grade school, middle school and high school students.
Havre also offers several options for day care.

Montana with Kids was founded by a group of parents looking to put together a publication aimed precisely at parents, whether they live in Montana or are just planning to visit Montana. Since then it’s grown to cover the greater Northwest region.

The city of Havre has an extensive summer and winter recreation program. Check out this city web site at for a detailed program listing.
