Today’s focus on healthy eating may play a role in the growth and popularity of markets state wide including Havre’s Market. Farmers Markets have the potential to highlight what is unique about communities. Shoppers visiting the market have a chance to learn what is grown in the area; they can also see the products of local crafters and artisans and enjoy a variety of home baked treats.
Vendors are welcome to set up once or every Saturday starting July - September, Festival Days weekend. To participate, contact the Chamber, 265-4383. The fee to set up is $60.00 (includes vendor apron for new market participants) for the summer's 11 markets or $10.00 each Saturday. The market runs from 8 A.M. to Noon at the Town Square and early birds are welcome. Each participants needs to bring what they need to conduct business: canopy, table, chairs, etc. No power is provided. The market is governed by a set of policies and procedures and organized and facilitated by the Havre Chamber of Commerce.
