In the 1960’s the nostalgic Music Festival was discontinued leaving Havre without a community celebration. In 1980, a group of community members organized the first Havre Festival Days. Festival Days has become a fitting conclusion to the summer. A full schedule of events will be part of the celebration.
Collector Festival Days Buttons will be available along with commemorative beer mug, both showcasing this year’s logo depicting the logo for the 42nd annual event, Celebrating Havre.
The weekend starts on Friday with the opening of the 48 hour softball tournament, the Quilt Show and the Friends of the Library Book sale.
The fun continues on Saturday, starting with the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast. The parade, the highlight of the weekend, really gets the Saturday schedule of events going. The parade truly captures the spirit and pride of the community, from the HHS Marching band, to floats representing clubs and organizations, to local businesses, including farm equipment and horses.
On Friday we'll have the Havre Eagles Club Burger Feed & Bingo from 5:30pm-7pm
Several Chamber hosted activities are part of the Saturday’s schedule. The Festival of Crafts opens at the Havre Holiday Village Mall with more vendors located on the streets downtown. S.A.T.U.R.D.A.Y Market at the Town Square concludes its market season.
The Festival Days Run Walk is a great Sunday event to participate in as a family. The event provides for all levels of run and walk. And what a perfect way to wrap up Festival Days.
The weekend’s fun schedule wraps up on Sunday with the Festival Walk/ Run, and the conclusion of the 48 hour soft tournament, craft show, the book sale and the quilt show.
Join in the fun and help celebrate Havre Festival Days.
